2010 Yea Picnic Racing Cup

The 2010 Yea Cup meeting.
The big event of 2010, the Yea Picnic Cup is a great day to come to the beautiful Yea Racecourse, fill your wine glass, sip a beer, relax, and watch some outstanding horses compete.
Shake off the worries of the office, and head out to the true country atmosphere here in Yea. Just over 40 minutes from Lilydale, up the Melba Highway from Yarra Glen but a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
A great day consisting of 6 races, with a starting time of approx 1.30 pm.
Generous on-site parking and picnic facilities are available for all visitors. Beer/Wine and Spirits are available on course, with B.Y.O if your tastes are a little exotic. PS: Rumour has it Yea has the cheapest beer on the 
Circuit..$3 for a beer and $3 for a glass of wine..
There will also be plenty of entertainment for the kids, with Jumping Castle, face and plaster painting, pony rides (not on the course of course!), Haven Display ( to meet a wombat, pat a joey or possibly meet another long lost relative).
For the big boys and girls there will be a great selection of local wines to taste
